Routine Foot Care / Diabetic Foot Treatments

Having difficulty cutting your nails?
Often with age nails become thicker, harder, and more difficult to cut. It also becomes more difficult to bend over and reach your toes.
- We can cut all size, shapes and thickness of nails.
Painful lesions? (Corns or callus)
You are able to cut your toenails, however you need assistance with callus, corns, and cracks in your feet? No problem. We call this callus debridement. This is also Routine Foot Care
But I get pedicures? Can you only do my callus and not nails?
Yes! Only trained health professionals should bring sharp objects to your feet. Only sterilized instruments should be used on your feet. Many patients have pedicures (for the colourful nails of course), but they only trust us with sharp objects.
Diabetic Foot Treatments
All diabetic foot treatments begin with a diabetic foot screening.
Routine diabetic foot treatments are common. These appointments are often once every 6 to 8 weeks. The time between the appointments is decided between the patient and the health care specialist. At these appointments a foot screening is performed, diabetic foot education is introduced, and foot care is completed.
Foot care includes: nail cutting, nail thinning, callus reduction, etc.
